Contact Responses

Contact Responses

A Contact Response is how you respond to the customer request. Responses are added from the Assignments & Responses tab on the profile page and are linked to the Response Type setup.

To add a response to a customer request, use the following steps:

  1. Go to the Customer Request Profile page.
  2. On Assignments & Responses tab, select the contact responses child form.
  3. On the contact responses child form, open the yellow folder to the left of the assignment.
  4. Click the Add button.
  5. The Add - Contact Request Response window will display.
  6. Select a response type from the response code drop-down list.
  7. Enter a summary and details (optional).
  8. Click Save.
  9. The information will be displayed in the contact responses child form with the date and user.

Note: NetForum provides a wide latitude on how you choose to use this functionality and the Response Type drop-down list.
