RichTextBox

A RichTextBox is a Control Class used in the NetForum User Interface.

RichTextBox controls are used typically for advanced HTML formatting for CMS Web Page Details, Correspondence Templates, and other features that use HTML.

Depending on the HTMLEditor user preference, the user has several options for which kind of HTMLEditor to use. See HTMLEditor for more.

Troubleshooting

• The Alt-S hotkey to Save a record will lose what you just typed into a RichTextBox unless you tab out of the control. In other words, if you type into a RichTextBox, then click Alt-S, what you just typed will not be saved. If you click the "Save" button with your mouse, or if you tab out or click out of the control, then your entry will be saved.
