This section is for common problems found with eWeb and eWeb related functions.

1. Go button does not post back

For eWeb issues specifically if the go button just causes a post back with no action. Error message does not go to the intended page. Then the first thing that should be checked is to see whether the eWeb website is on the correct version of the .netframework.

2. eWeb items work for logged in people only when they should work with people not logged in.

If there are eWeb items that only work when a person is logged in but should work when a person is not logged in. Check to see if the customer Web User has been soft or hard deleted.

Cookies

eWeb required cookies to be enabled. If cookies are disabled, a user will not be able to log in; the user will stay on the login page.
