Group1
Group 1 AVS Integration netFORUM will now integrate with Group 1’s CDQ On Demand Address Verification web service. The Group 1 integration works through the same Validate Address button as the other AVS Integrations. Unlike the other integrations, Group 1 is available for international addresses.
The following fields will be included as part of the Group 1 integration:
- Address Line 1
- Address Line 2
- Address Line 3
- City
- State/Province
- Postal Code
- Country
- US Urbanization Name
- Postal Bar Code
- US Carrier Route Code
- US FIPS County Number
- US County Name
- US Congressional District

Note: The Group1Endpoint system option has 4 settings: ValidateAddress; GeocodeUSAddress; GeocodeCANAddress; GeocodeAddressWorld. The Geocode settings contain latitude/longitude whereas the ValidateAddress setting does not.

NetForum Tasks
The integration requires the configuration of three system options. These system options are Group1AccountUserName, Group1AccountPassword, Group1UseMixedCase.
Nearby Contacts
The geocoding feature allows two addresses to be compared to determine their proximity to one another. This feature is visible on the nearby contacts child form on the individual and organization profile pages. The nearby contacts child form is available under the Misc tab on the child form section of the individual and organization profiles.
Note: Individuals on the nearby contacts child form are sorted by distance.
Group1 Endpoint
Set the endpoint address validation for Group1. The default value is GeocodeCANAddress.

Assumptions and Limitations
Group1 offers two web services with different pricing schema to their clients. Abila's integration only works with 1 web service and it does not return latitude and longitude. If the fields are not listed in the AVS Fields, it is not part of the netFORUM baseline integration and requires additional cost to consume the other web service offered by Group1. Client may also need to obtain additional Group1 license for such service.
