Case Management Overview

The Case Management Overview page displays several commonly used quick action links as well as a list of cases that have been assigned to the logged-in user and cases that have yet to be assigned.

Quick action links include:

My Cases

Recently created cases assigned to the current user appear in the My Cases widget on the Overview screen. When a new case is created, the user set as the Internal Assignee will see the case name on the Overview group item screen in the My Cases widget.

Note: The case's appearance in the My Cases widget acts as a reminder to the internal assignee when they visit the Overview page. No email reminder or other notification is sent to the internal assignee to notify them of their assignment to the case.

The case remains in the My Cases widget for the user no matter what the case status is. Only setting the closed date removes the case from the My Cases widget.

Unassigned Cases

The Unassigned Cases widget on the Overview screen lists the most recent cases that have been created but do not have an Internal Assignee. You can select these cases from the widget and edit or assign them.
