Populate User Privileges

Overview

Populate User Privileges populates a User's database table and column security Privileges. This process is launched from the Admin overview page by clicking the Populate User Privileges link. This process can be run for a single user or all users. The process will propagate the underlying Group Table Privilege and Group Column Privilege for all of the user's groups and synthesize/consolidate the overall privileges into that user's overall privileges.

This process must be run after any of the following occur:

• A new user is added.
• You add or remove groups from a user.
• You adjust group table privileges.
• You adjust group column privileges.

It is OK to run this process repeatedly.
