Project Child Form

Project Child Form

projects - Project Code, Project Name, and End Date.

The projects child form displays a list of projects that have been created for the Business Unit.

Accounting Projects allow you to avoid creating a set of G/L Accounts that are specific to a particular event, department, or item. Instead, you can create a set of natural, or generic G/L accounts that you want to track separately within a Project for each of these specific items or events.

Example: Accounting Projects: membership project, creating a project for each event that you hold, event or group specific merchandise, etc

When you set up your product, you define the project to be used, along with the natural account codes. When you export the information to your accounting package, the project is included along with the account on each transaction. You can also assign an end date to each project for reporting purposes.
