Adding the PayPal (PayFlow Pro) Merchant Account Settings

Modules>Accounting>Overview>Accounting Setup>Payment Gateways> Payment Gateway Profile>Merchant Account Profile>Merchant Account Settings Profile

To enter the merchant account settings for PayPal (PayFlow Pro), complete the following steps:

Note: These steps must be completed for each merchant account associated to the PayPal (PayFlow Pro) payment gateway.

  1. Go to a Merchant Account Profile for the PayPal (PayFlow Pro) payment gateway.
  2. Complete the steps outlined in the Adding Merchant Account Settings help topic. You must repeat these steps for each code that is to be entered for PayPal (PayFlow Pro).
  3. Enter each code listed below. You must add every code listed below in order for the PayPal (PayFlow Pro) payment gateway to function properly. A short description of the code and an example value for each code is provided below:
Code Description Example Value
partner Enter your partner ID as mentioned in your Payflow Pro account. PayPal
password Enter the secure Payflow Pro  password associated with the User/partner ID. If you are not sure of the password, contact PayPal support.
progid The progid is a configuration setting used in integrations that connect to the PayPal Payflow Gateway. Use the Value mentioned in the Example Value section. Check with your implementation specialist/PayPal Account Manager for actual progid. PayPal.Payments.Communications.PayflowNETAPI
url The URL that corresponds to the environment for PayPal (PayFlow Pro): Test, Pre-live or Live. Check with your implementation specialist for actual URLs. pilot-payflowpro.paypal.com
username Enter your Payflow Pro username (case-sensitive). netForumPayPal

 

Note: Please take note of the capitalization of each code and value. Make sure they are used exactly as indicated.
