Use this system option to instruct the eWeb and xWeb Shopping Cart to reserve the price already selected when a cart-refresh is triggered. When using the "honor system" in displaying prices on a public-facing website, this option can be used to prevent the price from flipping during a cart refresh, which can happen if a user adds items to their cart prior to logging in. The default for this option is false (cleared check box).
Note: The corresponding pricing-control stored procedure must return the price already in the cart (but not necessarily the only price) when the @prd_key parameter is passed. If it is not, the price in the cart will flip to the first price returned or removed if none are returned.
Important! Note that this option supersedes the LowestPriceOnly option.
Current Setting
The current setting for PricingControlKeepPriceFor eWeb is used as follows:
Values: This system option can be set to true (selected check box) or false (cleared check box).
- true—reserve the price already selected when a cart-refresh is triggered in the eWeb and xWeb Shopping Cart.
- false—reserve the price already selected when a cart-refresh is triggered in the eWeb and xWeb Shopping Cart.
Default Value: false
