Use this system option to permit or prevent multiple memberships per association for one customer. The default for this option is true (selected check box).
Important! This system option should be set up before the site goes live.
Current Setting
The current setting for AllowMultipleMembershipsPerAssociation is used as follows:
Values: This system option can be set to true (selected check box) or false (cleared check box).
- true—allow a customer to have multiple memberships per association, but will still prevent a customer from having more than one active membership of the same member type.
- false—do not allow a customer to have multiple memberships per association. A customer may have, at most, one membership per association. Trying to add an additional membership to the same association will result in the Customer Currently has Active Membership error message.
Default Value: true

Type: The Type field determines the display type of the Current setting field (check box, drop-down list, or text box).
Values: The values field indicates the allowed values for the Current setting field.
