Module Setup

The Setup section of the main content area has links to pages where you can set up the module drop-down lists and system options.

In general, you have to setup a Module before it can be used. Use the following general steps to Setup each Module:

You must have Admin permissions to complete the following steps.

  1. Set permissions for individuals and groups in the Admin Module.
  2. Set the initial NetForum configuration, which includes setting System Options.
  3. Populate drop-down lists with values that make sense for your organization. If these drop-down lists are not populated, the user cannot complete tasks. Go to the module-specific setup topic for detailed steps.
